Is Nutribullet Nutrient Extracter Safe To Have With High Cholesterol?
I just received a Nutribullet nutrient extracter (Juicer type product) which advises people on cholesterol loweing medication to speak to their dr before using. You only take once or twice a day along with your meals and the drinks are made up of water, fruit and veg and seeds/nuts? I cant see any reason why it would be a problem? If anything it is full of goodness? im aware that grapefruit is a no no!
Kind Regards

Precautionary message by Nutribullet
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
That was a disclaimer/precautionary message by any diet supplement company to be free from legal suits because of the use of their products.
Most of such supplements or herbal preparations are not widely researched on their products but claim to enhance the health of the users. Although the preparation contains only fruit, water, and nuts the minerals and other additions to the product can alter the metabolism of the cholesterol medications while they pass through the liver. I understand that most of the foods and resource that is near to nature is full of goodness but not all, like the grapefruit.
I would not suggest its use. Since you already bought it I'd suggest you to take this product to your doctor, let him read the ingredients and tell you its safety.
