Brief Answer:
PTH

Detailed Answer:
PTH values can change based on the blood levels of vitamin D and calcium. Moreover it is important to collect the blood sample with the correct technique and preserve it according to instructions given on the laboratory testing kit.
These are important to follow otherwise false results occur with the PTH test.

PTH must be interpreted in the context of simultaneous levels of blood calcium and 25 hydroxy Vitamin D. So ideally all 3 need to be tested on the same blood sample.
The presence of a high PTH when calcium is high indicates a different disease as opposed to a high PTH associated with a low blood calcium which suggests another disease.

I have the other test results necessary for you to perhaps give me an answer to my previous question regarding my PTH level being 62. My calcium is 9.4 and vit D is 39. what does that look like to you now? Thank you, Lori

Detailed Answer:
The calcium and vitamin D levels appear normal.

Ionized calcium is a more accurate measure of blood calcium levels.

25 hydroxy Vitamin D is the right vitamin D test in this context for now.

It is very likely your report of 39 is a 25 hydroxy Vitamin D blood test result which is what we want. So if that is the case it is good.

Finally blood phosphate levels will be helpful.

Moreover, medicine and endocrinology are not just about numbers. You will benefit from the services of an endocrinologist who will examine you thoroughly in-person and interpret these results in light of the overall picture.
