Is Primolut N Effective In The Treatment Of PCOS?
Question: I recently got diagnosed with pcos. I was wondering is it ok for me to take primolut N for 21 days every month for help get my period without having to do a contraceptive pill. Or is there another hormone pill I can take that is not a contraceptive??
Brief Answer:
Meprate is better
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
In PCOS, it is better to take Meprate or Medroxyprogesterone acetate to induce periods, as Primolut has more side effects.
Moreover, you should do some daily exercises, as lifestyle changes improve the hormonal profile in PCOS and help in improving the menstrual regulation without any medications.
There is no nonhormonal drug to induce the periods.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
