Question: is there any difference in serquel and olanzaphine iam dealing with hunting ton disease was taking serquel switched to olanzapine ran ouy of olan went back to serquel the medical fraternity in XXXXXXX wont btouch the disease I believe it blockage that reguires stems the brain locks up this is my second go around with the disease father daughter I'm took help care father now my wife


Ive been to several doctors fighting for 8 years behaviors issues started iam not ready to give her up

Seroquel (quetiapine) and Zyprexa (olanzapine) are very similar medications. There are a couple of small differences between them. Zyprexa tends to have more weight gain (average 20 pounds) compared to Seroquel (15 pounds). Zyprexa also tends to be slightly more sedating. Overall, though, they are very similar.
