Is TSH Level Of 8.68 Normal?
Start with thyroid supplements.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Your TSH levels are high and you need to start with proper thyroid supplements so that the levels come back to normal as soon as possible. This thyroid abnormality can cause a delayed growth in the fetus.
PCOS does not affect the pregnancy. It only delays the conception but once the baby is conceived there is usually no problem.
You should have small frequent meals which should include healthy stuff like milk, sprouts, cheese, soya, green leafy vegetables and fruits. Almonds, pine nuts and walnuts are very good for you. Drink a lot of water. Avoid heavy work and climbing stairs at a fast pace.
An ultrasound and blood investigations after 2 weeks so as to screen for certain things which is a routine in all pregnant women and to check the thyroid levels.
keep a regular follow up with your gynecologist as advised by her.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Best to avoid travelling.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
It is best to avoid travelling during first 12 weeks of pregnancy as it can aggravate nausea and pain abdomen. If you are feeling normal with no pain abdomen or nausea or bleeding then you can plan the trip only after consulting a gynecologist and getting an ultrasound scan done. Do take the medicines regularly and avoid hot and spicy food and prefer the home made food.
