Is Thyronorm Safe To Be Taken While Breastfeeding?
Question: I developed hypothoroidism ( tsh 31) during first trimester of pregnancy & I was taking medicine & could get thyroid under control. Till pregnancy I was having 100 mcg thyronorm.after delivery, thyroid of baby was tested within 2 days & it was about tsh 5 which doc said is normal. Meanwhile I continued 100 mcg resulting in tsh of .26. then I started skipping the tablet occasionally resulting in tsh of 2.6. would my thyronorm( overdose) intake affect my breastfed baby? When shall I check my baby's tsh again?
