Welcome to HealthcareMagic. I am Dr.Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
Birth control pills can be used up to the age of menopause if you do not have any risk factors.
It should not be used in women with ocular migraines beyond the age of 35 as it slightly increases the risk of stroke in them. So do stop this contraception, please discuss with your doctor and start using non-hormonal contraception.

Are the iud, patch, shot all pretty much the same as the pill and should i not use those either? How much does it cost to get tubes tied and a vasectomy would one of these be a better thing to do
Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Copper intrauterine devise is not the same as pills.
It contains copper. It does not contain hormones.
Shot and patch contain hormones similar to the one in pills and do you should not use them.
I am not aware of the cost of surgery in USA.
If you wish you can opt for the procedure of tying tubes or vasectomy. But this involves surgery.
So I am of the opinion that copper devise is a better choice for you.
