Brief Answer:
It can be used
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
Thanks for using health care magic.
Although Zolpidem can be used along with alcohol but I feel it should be avoided as far as possible. I like to inform you that it is completely safe.
Having said this I feel it will be better if you can cut down intake of alcohol to two to three drinks in a day.
I hope this helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
None for the daytime
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
Thanks for reverting back to me.
With additional available information I feel you need to abstain from alcohol. I understand you are not taking it regularly but with escitalopram it may cause more harm than you have imagined. The reason is alcohol counters some of the effects of escitalopram in anxiety and depression and worsens the condition.
Having said this none of the available medicines should be taken during the day. You are already feeling dizzy and if you take Zolfresh or alprax they may worsen the dizziness thus complicating the condition.
I hope this helps you further.
Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
Ask your doctor to prescribe Zolpidem
Detailed Answer:
Dear Hannet,
Thanks for reverting back to me.
Although if you continue your medication properly (escitalopram) and avoid alcohol there is possibility of spontaneous remission of problem but for time being request your doctor to prescribe Zolpidem for as need basis. Take it only when you are not able to sleep after half an hour from retiring to bed.
In addition avoid sleeping during day beyond 30 minutes.
Plus observe sleep hygiene.
