Is A 500 Mg Of Phenylepherine HCL A Safe Dosage?

Question: I have a question about this: Phenylepherine HCL is contained in cold medications. Can you tell me if it is ever used in a 500mg dose, and what that dose is used for? I was also interested in what the toxic level for ingestion of Phenylepherine HCL is, if that is available and I can ask that as a different question if need be. Thank you.
