Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Your actual blood pressure values are really high.

I would like to know what are your mean blood pressure values. Do you have any symptoms like shortness of breath, dizziness, blurring vision, headache or nausea?

Are you currently taking any antihypertensive therapy?

I recommend you to have some rest, avoid physical activity in the next hours and take some deep breaths. If you are currently taking antihypertensive drugs, I would recommend taking an additional dose now. If not, a cup of lemon juice can be helpful.

If your blood pressure values do not come down with the above tips, of if you have any of the above symptoms, I would recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and some tests :

- a resting ECG
- some blood lab tests (complete blood count, blood electrolytes, kidney and liver function tests).

Hope to have been helpful!

Let me know about everything!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
