Is A C-section Delivery At 35 Weeks Of Pregnancy Advisable?
Question: M goin to b 35 week on wed.. my doc preparing for c section exactly on 35 week....i have already taken steriods....will my baby b alryt if he born at 35 week?
Brief Answer:
Baby will have lesser effects
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
One can have caesarean section at 35 weeks, if indicated.
Baby will not have respiratory problems if you have received the steroid cover. It will also decrease the chances of necrotising enterocolitis, which is common in preterm babies.
However, problems due to preterm birth like problems in breastfeeding and admission in NICU can occur.
Caesarean section should be done in a hospital with good neonatal facilities.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Baby weight is arnd 2.5 kg....do u tink still he have to b in nicu????
Brief Answer:
Depends on other factors too
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Admission in NICU depends upon many factors like baby weight, respiratory status, feeding status etc.
According to baby weight, admission will not be required, however other factors at birth will have a deciding role.
