Is A Heart Rate Of 82 While Sleeping A Concern?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
What is the explanation about that and is this normal.
No worries, supportive care
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Waking up from sleep is a switch of hormones and autonomic nervous system from parasympathetic to sympathetic which gives an epinephrine kick and that gives a rapid heart beat, although 60 to 100 is a pretty normal range and nothing to worry about. When your eyes open, lay down in the bed for a minutes, rub your eyes with palms of your hand, it will induce occulocardiac reflex and slower the heart rate. Then sit in the bed for 30 seconds or a minute, same way then dangle the legs on bed side and then slowly stand and walk. Also make sure the alarm clocks or other awakening methods are friendly and not much aggressive in sound any other stimulus. This way you wont feel those rapid thumping beats, Rest assured, pulse rate upto 100 is pretty normal and nothing to worry about. It happens with all of us.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
