I just discovered a small bump like structure within my cheek, after poking abit with my tongue and bitting it a bit, it burst and I felt blood, upon inspecting my mouth , now there of course is a small wound there, on the opposite side I see some tiny brown spots, Is this a cause for concern ?
No cause of concern.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Male/23 - poked with tongue a small bump in cheek - biting a bit and felt blood - small wound - tiny brown spots on the opposite site -
The small bump in the cheek is most probable an enlarged minor salivary gland you have done with it as it may not recur.
The tiny brown spots if not elevated can be just deposits of melanin pigment and if there are no symptoms, are of no clinical significance.
I do not think that there is no need of any concern.
You may post the photos of both the things for me to be certain about it.
I hope this answers your query, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
