Question: Accidentally ate 2 zolfresh 10mg tablets ,is this cause any problemes ?

Hi ,

Thanks for writing to us.

Zolfresh contains zolpidem. It is used for sleep disturbance mostly for sleep initiation.

Routine dose is 5-10 mg.

Its half-life is 2-3 hours and more than 50% of drug excreted via urine.

With 20 mg dose you may feel dizziness, headache and drowsiness. Drink lots of liquid (juices) and drug will be completely out of your system in 24 hours. Till then do not drive or do any mechanical work and take rest.

You can restart normal activity from 2nd day onward.
