Brief Answer:
No this would not be harmful to you in any way

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and I hope i can help you today.

Miconazole Nitrate is normally used to treat vaginal yeast infections, and in suppository form is is designed to melt into a whitish cream within a few hours.

The cream should not irritate your rectum, as the vagina has a mucous membrane similar to the vagina. It may leak out of the rectum, but more likely will just come out during your next bowel movement.

You should resume your hemorrhoid treatment after you have a bowel movement. If you still need to complete treatment for a yeast infection, you should place another suppository vaginally tonight.

I hope I was able to adequately answer your question today and that this information was helpful. If you need anything further, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best wishes,

Dr. Brown
