Question: I have a huge bruise leg from a fall. Is it safe to take a 8 hour flight?

Thanks for the query

If it's an 8 hours flight then I recommend that you get evaluated with an x Ray and make sure there is no internal injury before going. If the bruise looks infected then probably it is better that you are covered with an antibiotic like amoxiclav before the departure.
In the mean time follow these steps
1. keep the area clean and avoid moisture
2. bruise need not be bandaged
3. avoid friction over the area,
4. make sure no further trauma occurs over the area
