Is Alcohol Advisable While On Amoxicillin For Acne?

Question: Hi im taking amoxicillin for acne. Is it ok if i drank 3 glasses of wine??

amoxicillin metabolism is not affected by small quantities of alcohol, so you can go ahead an drink a couple of glasses.

Ok so i took it at 7am and had my first glass at 9pm so i am good then right?? I wont take it untill tomorrow night right?

Ya i just take it for acne problems. So i will be ok then right?

The wine is not going to cause any trouble...

Regarding amoxicillin dosage, it depends on the infection. For mild infections 1gram twice daily is enough. More will be needed for more severe infections.
