Is Alcohol Advisable While On Prednisolone?

Question: taking prednisolone for allergy cough and phlegm. this is second day and am feeling much better. glass of wine a problem?

Yes, it'd be a problem as wine increases the chances of gastric irritation and in severe cases even gastric ulcers while on Prednisolone..

I'd advice you to please avoid it for the time being..stay well hydrated by drinking a lot of water.. also please take the prednisolone after food only (which I believe you must be doing already)..

good info. not what i wanted to hear cause i love my glass of wine before dinner but
that's what i needed to know. they never told me to take Prednisolone after food.
