Is Alcohol Consumption Safe During The Period Of Rabies Vaccination?
Question: Hi
I got bitten by a dog last night. It bit me over my clothes and my clothes did not even get torn. There are absolutely no marks, scratches or blood. There is slight pain though. As a precautionary measure, I got Tetanus as well as anti rabies today i.e. 25.05.2016. Next doses on day 3, 7 and 28.
Is it safe to drink alcohol during the period of my vaccination. If yes, then how often and to what limit?

Although alcohol would not mess up with your vaccination process, it is perhaps a good idea to refrain from alcohol intake if feasible. There is no defined limit for the same.

Is there any specific reason for which I should refrain if it would not impact my medication?
Brief Answer:
Vaccine effect unaltered
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.
No specific reasons related to the vaccination. The effect of the vaccine would not vary but your immunity may get reduced due for the effect of alcohol.
