Is Tetanus Injection Necessary After Getting Pricked By Nail?

My son is 3 years of old and got hurt (small) while climbing a wooden chair. When he complaint about the wound we have noticed that the chair has a small nail and might be the cause for the wound. My query is that do he need to take tetanus injection as he completed the DPT vaccine and the booster dose is pending? Please let me know whether I need to take the tetanus injection in this due course?
