Brief Answer:
need to stop alcohol consumption

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthcareMagic .

You need to stop alcohol one week before surgery and one week later and till you are taking antibiotics and pain killers.

So I suggest you to stop alcohol since you are posted for surgery next week. This precaution is because you are given anaesthesia.

Alcohol unlikely to effect gall bladder stones. But as discussed earlier, alcohol abstinence is required now.

Hope I have answered your query . If any further queries are there I would love to help.

Regards
Dr.Deepika Patil
