Is Alcohol Consumption Safe While On Xanax?

default
Posted on Thu, 12 May 2016
Question: Can I drink on Xanax? Everywhere I google online says no you will die. My tolerance to Xanax is very high and I don't feel any side effects from it. I know I would not want to do them at the same time, but If I was on vacation and took 2mg of Xanax in the morning how long should I wait to enjoy a beer?

Brief Answer:
You can, but we really do not advise!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

Alcohol increases the side effects of xanax such as drowsiness, dizziness and difficulties concentrating. I will suggest that if you must do so, put a 4hours interval an drink nothing but minimal volumes of beer. For sure, you will not die but you wouldn't want to mess round with your treatment.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
