
Is An HIV Antibody Test Done After 4 Months Conclusive?

Question: I had a 4month (120 day) hiv antibody test from a small risk i had. It was a negative has a test resault ever changed from - to + afte 4 months? the encounter was i recieved oral i am a male!

Oral sex is not a risk for HIV transmission unless there are open wounds or ulcers.
The tests have come negative is very good.Antibodies test after 3 months is usually taken as conclusive.
Theoretically Possibility of HIV antibodies coming positive after 4 months is very rare.
As there is no risk ,there is no possiblity of tests changing to positive later.

Ok thank you doctor. I do have a follow up question. I feel slight pain under my ears and under my armpits. What could cause this pain? I also recently was sick .

Hello Dr. Basti I took your advise and went to see my doctor. He says it is Bronchitis and my left lung has fluid in it and this is why my lymph nodes are tender. He gave me a shot and 500mg of zithroma Would you agree with this assesment? Also i ment to add to yesterdays query i also had a hiv rna pcr / antibody test at 6 weeks after exposer and it to was also negative!x
