Is An Ovarian Cyst Size Of 54 Mm A Cause For Concern?

Question: Hi, I had a cyst of size 54mm and some nabothian cysts in my right ovary. was on medicine for past 4 months and now it has reduced to 27mm. So just want to know do i still need surgical treatment for this to conceive or medicine will help me?
Brief Answer:
you need not undergo surgery now.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
As your ovarian cyst size has reduced from 5cm to less than 3 cm, there is no need for a surgery and it appears to have been a simple follicular cyst which got reduced secondary to use of medicines for last 4 months. There is no need for a laparoscopic cystectomy anymore. This should help reduce it further. I suggest you continue medications for another 2 months and then try for pregnancy.
