Brief Answer:
Harmful

Detailed Answer:
In general, there is no medical term such as an Over active pituitary gland. But I follow what you are asking.
There are specific parts of the pituitary gland that can become overactive and cause problems.
So for example, the GH (Growth Hormone) producing cells of the pituitary can become over active and produce excessive amounts of GH leading to a condition called Acromegaly.
Similarly the ACTH cells can start making too much of ACTH resulting in excessive cortisol being released by the adrenal gland, leading to a difficult medical problem called Cushing's syndrome.
Too much TSH, Prolactin, FSH, LH and ADH are other instances of problems from over active portions of the pituitary gland.

My brother is taking hyper immune egg and his doctor is telling him he has an over active pituitary gland. Could the hyper immune egg be causing the problem?

Do you believe it is possible to take to much hyper immune egg daily. I, like my brother, am also taking it for joint pain and am amazed how it relieves any pain I have when I take it daily. I am taking up to 12 grams a day. Just wondering if there is an upper limit I should take. I am told it is just egg where the hens have been vaccinated creating a number of different immunities that is passed on to the eggs they lay. I really feel good when I take it, I just don't want to be creating other issues. Just wondering if you have any opinion on this subject.

Thank you very much for your responses.

I am not an expert in the other matters of hyperimmune egg you have raised. You need to consult an Immunologist for this.
