Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that your daughter is 38 months old that is 3 years and 2 months..
In this age anaesthesia can be given if the child us healthy and has no such conditions/ diseases which might require avoiding anaesthesia...
I would first of all like to know a few details so that I can guide you better..
1.Is your daughter healthy and free from any disease?
2.Which kind of anaesthesia is advised to her, is it local anaesthesia that is just to numb the tooth or General anaesthesia in which she will be made unconscious?
3.What kind of dental treatment is advised, please name the treatment?
Please revert back with answers...
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.

She will be having dental caps on front teeth and fillings on molars.
The only reason for using general anesthesia is my child is scared. I don't know what kid of general anesthesia that will be used.
Im really concerned is that maybe the anesthesiologist never use general anesthesia on a three year old.
General Anaesthesia can be used in a 3 year old..

Hi..
Welcome Back..
As per your query General Anaesthesia can be given to a 3 year old and the idea behind giving it is just to make the treatment easy as kids cannot be comfortable with dental treatment and can throw tantrums which can make the working difficult..
You need not to worry and get the anaesthesia done by a trained Anaesthesiologist so that the treatment can be done with ease..
Any further queries are welcome..
Regards.
