Is Antibiotic Treatment Of Amoxsan And Comtro The Right Method Of Treatment For H.Pylori Infection?
I understand in mainstream medicine, the choice of treatment is currently very limited. with only 2 options, both of which have many negative side effects, and with failure rates as high as 70% being reported.
Is what I have been prescribed the safest, most effective answer to cure me ?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
From what you are describing, you going through a tough time with your stomach.
For this, you need an immediate treatment.
Usually, the treatment consists of antibiotics (amoxan dhe comtro) in combination with PPIs (nexium ).
This therapy has been proved to show efficacy in 85% of patients who followed it.
You should keep in mind that H.Pylori infection is difficult to eradicate. Only one therapy is not enough. You might need to repeat the same treatment or other medications might be added.
With regards to herbal it is true that is approved herbal medicine from FDA. However, its efficacy in subsiding the ulcer symptoms has not been proved so far, and is not included in the therapeutic scheme of ulcer yet.
To my opinion, you should continue with the actual antibiotic scheme as prescribed by your doctor first hoping that it will work.
If yes, then there is no need to repeat it but can try herbal treatment instead.
Hope it was of help!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
The triple therapy with Amoxycillin, Comtro and Nexium is the most proven effective treatment for the eradication of H. Pylori and the healing of stomach ulcers.
Although there are few side effects the benefits surpass the risk. The principal and most dangerous side effects would be allergic reaction. Keep in mind that allergic reaction are observed even from herbal treatments.
Other most common side effects from antibiotic treatment include :
- Intestinal candida overgrowth
- Diarrhea / abdominal cramps
- Dyspepsia
The efficacity of Matula in replacing antibiotics in the eradication of H. Pylori and healing stomach ulcers isn't confirmed from independent unbiased studies.
This is why I strongly suggest to continue with the treatment prescribed by your treating doctor.
Wish you health!
