Is Bitter Taste In Mouth A Cause For Concern?

Question: I've been having bitter taste in my mouth for a while; I'm concerned it may have something to do with the liver;
have been considering the water quality? I've already installed a water purifier, and to others it tastes OK, OR maybe my multiple supplements I've been taking? have discontinued most of lately as well.

Brief Answer:
capsule omeprazole, probiotics
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome.
I have gone through your query.
Most common cause of bitter taste in the mouth is acidity or reflux disease.
Rather than changing any supplements, I would have adviced you to take over the counter medications like omeprazole 20 mg once daily before breakfast for 7 days, and over the counter probiotics like ecobion or sporolac for 3 days. Kindly follow these measures for 7 days, there should be improvement.
This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.
I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you.
Take care.
