Question: Hi, I am pretty sure I have haemorrhoids and when I try to go to the washroom there is a blood in the toilet and toilet paper. Today i bought haemorrhoid cream and some pills. what else can i do?

Hi,

I suggest you to consult your doctor/surgeon once and get examined and confirm the diagnosis. Because there are many causes of bleeding during or after passing stool.

Along with that I suggest you to do sitz bath. In this you need to take a small tub and put XXXXXXX warm water with 10ml dettol and sit in that for 20mins 3 times a day. Sit in squating position so that anal region is soaked.

If in your pills stool softner is not there then take lactulose syrup 10 to 15ml in night. This will help relieving constipation. Continue applying haemorrhoid cream 3 times a day after sitz bath.
