Is Bleeding Post Intercourse During Pregnancy Normal?
Question: Hello Doctor! I am 8 weeks pregnant. Today after having intercourse I had bleeding. No cramps and no clots. Is it normal? Will it fade away by the time? Isn't it safe to have sex?
Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Have you had an ultrasound scan so far ?
Sometimes, if the placenta is forming in the lower segment, it is better to avoid sex for the first few months until the placenta moves away.
Mild bleeding without cramps and clots is normal.
But it is better to see your doctor and have an ultrasound scan to know for sure that the baby is alright.
And avoid sex until your doctor says after the scan that it is okay to go ahead.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.

Thank u Doctor, I already have an early pregnancy scan due on 23rd. Is it ok if I get it done day after tomorrow? I see only two three drops now when i go to pee. One more query I have. I took siphene during last month cycle from 3 to 5 days. I read somewhere that there is probability of twins after taking siphene. Is it true?
Brief Answer:
As below
Detailed Answer:
Yes, get it done day after tomorrow, if the bleeding does not increase.
If possible, today or tomorrow.
Where do you reside ?
Siphene increases possibility of twins by 10 - 15 %, so yes, it is a possibility, but not a very high risk.
Take care.
Keep me posted.

That is great news.
So everything is alright.
Nothing to worry about.
But since the bleeding started after sex, it is best to abstain for a few days, say 15 weeks, and then again consult your doctor once and resume sexual activity.
Take care.
