Is Blood In Urine After Kidney Stone Removal Surgery Normal?

Question: I had a 10 ml kidney stone removed about a3 weeks ago. I have 6 other stones which must be removed surgically on April 1. Surgeon put a stent in following the initial surgery and he intends to keep it in until April 1 surgery. Problem is I have a lot of blood in my urine to the point that urine is red when urinating. I'm feeling tired but I'm taking iron. Is there any danger with this, if im losing a lot of blood? Should I be checked?
Brief Answer:
Check your red blood count and iron
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
this is expected sign after stone removal and such bleeding is usually minor and don't cause any difficulties although it may look dramatic. However,it would be smart to do red blood count and iron concentration in blood to see is there significant anemia or not. Wish you good health. Regards
