Brief Answer:
Not normal

Detailed Answer:
Greetings, sir! I am Dr. Meriton. Welcome to HCM and thank you for your query. I understand your concern.

Normal ranges of blood pressure, standardized for worldwide population is as follows:
- systolic: 100-139 mmHg
- diastolic: 60-89 mmHg.

The figures you provided are high blood pressure figures and, if constant finding, mandate treatment. I would recommend a beta-blocker or a calcium channel blocker, which, besides lowering the blood pressure, also reduce the heart workload. You can discuss with your cardiologist about the frequency and dosage.

I hope this helps. If you have follow-up questions regarding yoir concern, I would be happy to help. Wish you a good health.

Best regards,
Dr. Meriton
