Is Head Injury Possible After An Accident In A Child?
Question: Dear Team,
My 8 month old daughter fell down from bed during sleep.
Though she cried badly at that time but, things seems to be ok after some time.
Please advise if we need to check anything and take any action in this regard. Also, if this happens in future, what shall we do?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. I understand your concern. First be reassured that your kid is normal.
I will suggest you danger signs of head injury -
1. Vomiting continuously
2. Seizures
3. Watery of bloody discharge from ears and nose
4. Unconsciousness
5. Altered sensorium or behaviour.
If none of them are present, I don't think you should worry about his trivial head injury. For pain you can give oral Paracetamol in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose(max ceiling dose 500mg) every 4-6th hourly.
