Brief Answer:
Heavy lifting is not recommended.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
You have been diagnosed with cervical disc degeneration and radiculopathy. Doing heavy lifting and physical strength works is associated with high recurrence rates. It is best to avoid lifting heavy weights and get a fitness certificate from your treating orthopedician before resuming such a heavy duty work.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
