Is Hematoma On Vaginal Wall Detectable In Ultrasound?
Today had a tough bowel movement to pass and now seeing bright red blood.
Hemorrhoid likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
A small hematoma in the vaginal wall might not be detectable on the vaginal ultrasound. But the bright red blood that appeared after a tough bowel movement is likely to be due to a hemorrhoid.
A hemorrhoid is basically a small swollen blood vessel in the area of the anus. On occasion, these can be triggered by - prolonged sitting, heavy lifting, pregnancy or possibly from anal sexual intercourse.
These are not dangerous or life threatening.
Let me give you a few suggestions as far as what to do now. First, twice daily I'l like you to sit in a warm batch in the bathtub for 20 minutes. The warm water will sooth the area and help shrink the swollen tissue.
Next, you can go to any local pharmacy and pick up a tube of preparation H cooling gel. This is a clear gel which you can apply to the swollen areas after each bowel movement and also at bedtime. Over time this helps also to shrink the hemorroidal tissue.
Again, hemorrhoids are common and not worrisome. Occasionally they can become larger and bleed but in your case this is not a concern.
Be careful to avoid constipation at all costs. You should increase the fiber in your diet by eating fruits and vegetables. Be a smart grocer, choose foods which have fibre more than 25gm in the nutrition information label

Not likely to be vaginal bleeding.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The blood in the vaginal area might have trickled from the anal opening. Keep the area clean and watch for any more bleeding. It is not likely to be a vaginal bleeding.
Hope my answer is helpful.
