Brief Answer:
It is possible to run high temperature

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal
I have read your query

However, I am going to ask you to tell me completely about all your symptoms besides fever to know what the possibilities could be.

As from the query, I know you have been diagnosed with influenza. And now you are running a higher range of temperature which is absolutely possible with influenza as well.

take plenty of rest and fluids. And yes, you can take paracetamol for the fever. Cold tepid sponging, in addition to paracetamol, may help.

Best of luck.
