Question : My Son is 2.5 year old. He has minor hypospadiasis as suggested by his pediatric. Request you to kindly suggest good pediatric surgeon in XXXXXXX We are inMumbai and will be shifting to Ahmedabaf by this month end. Hi

I understand your concerns but don't worry. There are many well known expert pediatric surgeons in XXXXXXX Dr. XXXXXXX (Children surgical home), Dr. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX (Ellisbridge), Dr. XXXXXXX Shah (Amardeep multispeciality children hospital) and Dr. Jayul Kamdar (Karnavati hospital) are good. As your child is suffering from mild hypospadiasis, the chances of successful repair are excellent after minor surgical procedure.

The surgical correction includes correction of any chordee, tubularization of appropriate tissue to create a new urethra and skin cover.

Post operative complications include infection, wound dehiscence and rarely meatal stenosis. These complications are rare now a days with good aseptic practice and good expertise. The healing is complete usually within 1-2 weeks.
