Is Intercourse Advisable While Suffering From Jaundice?

Usually safe but it depends on the underlying cause of jaundice.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,
Jaundice is not contagious except the underlying cause is hepatitis B.
Apart from hepatitis B,there is no medical reason to avoid sex during or after jaundice means it all depends on your health and how you feel.
If you have very high bilirubin and high liver function tests (SGPT,SGOT), then I would suggest you to take complete bed rest and to take your medications regularly as per your doctor's opinion.
But if your health allows it and if you are negative for HBSAg testing, then its fine to have sex. It will be safe to have sex.
However, there is no actual waiting period so it depends upon your recovery. So if you have recovery fully and feeling fine then you can go for sex.

Mostly safe.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
welcome again,
Hepatitis E is transmitted through feco-oral route (oral contact with feces).
It is primarily through contaminated water sources or a lack of sanitation.
Since the transmission from person to person is uncommon, so sexual intercourse would not create any problem.
One can have sex if he/she is feels well.
