HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the lesions are no longer in the blister phase and they are healing over, then there is no risk of transmission of the infection (the chicken pox virus).

If they are still in the blister phase, the rash can be spread by direct contact with the lesions and it would be best to wait till the lesions heal over.

If he has a previous history of chicken pox then he should be immune and it would not make a difference if the blisters are present because he already had chicken pox and would not likely get it again.
