try the pain killers prescribed by your doctor first.
if they won't subside the pain, then, can smoke a small amount of weed, but not make a habit as your body needs to be healthy.
All the best!

Smoking weed will not harm thr stiches ?
Brief Answer:
Smoking weed will delay healing process, consider other anti-inflammatory
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
1. Usually, pain-killers, including the potent ones are prescribed to reduce the pain after surgery and they succeed in reducing the pain.
2. The patients are recommended to use medications as prescribed for the few days after surgery (up to a couple of weeks).
3. Smoking weed contains carbon monoxide which reduces the capacity of hemoglobin to carry oxygen into the body tissues. After surgery, the ear tissue on the wound area need more oxygen for the healing process. If you overload with carbon monoxide, the healing will be delayed.
4. In some cases, eating or vaporizing are preferred to smoking after surgery as they do not have the bad effects as smoking. However, I still think you should wait for the prescription anti-inflammatory/analgesic medications to take effect before deciding on weed.
