Question: I have a prescription for apo-omerprazole That I need to start taking once a day in the morning.

Can I take meta-mucil and align with this medication. If so and how far apart Thanks,

Hello, you can take both these medications together.
They can be taken at the same time. But it is preferable to keep a gap of 20 min between the omeprazole and meta mucil

My doctor is sending me for a scope on Monday I may have developed an ulcer.

He wants me to stick to just the apo-omeprazole only. Is there any harm in taking an additional ant acid. I have pepto bisaml tums and acid reducer (rantidine).

There is no harm in taking antacids (tums)or ranitidine in addition to omeprazole. It can be safely taken.
