Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
If you have been regularly taking Junel Fe, there is absolutely no reason to take a Plan B at any point of time, after unprotected sex.
You are already on birth control.
All the best.

I just always worry as im never sure and my period came a week early last month so this would be when I would be ovulating. And I was on sugar pills last week starting a new pack this week. I do set my alarm for 8am everyday to take them on time.
If I would ever miss a pill should I take plan B or should I be protected if I take within 24 hours?

Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
It does not matter if you have never missed a pill.
Even if you were on sugar pills, but you have taken the pills regularly throughout the pack, you stay protected.
If you miss a pill, but take it within 24 hours, you are still protected, and do not need Plan B.
If you miss 2 pills or more , yes you need Plan B.
Take care.

Thank you for your help! One last question...
If I every do miss 2 or more which is unlikely and I do have to take Plan B...does that affect my BC at all or will it just continue to work as normal?
i just wanted to make sure someone saw my last question.

Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
If you take Plan B, you may encounter irregular bleeding and spotting, but it would not affect your BC's efficacy.
It would continue to work as usual, provided you skip no more pills.
Take care.
