Is It Necessary To Have Sodium Fluoride Test In A Diabetic Neuropathy?

Question: I have Diabetic neuropathy. My A1C as of two months ago was 5.8%. I wanted to take a Glucose Plasma 12 hour fasting test. My result was Glucose Pasma NAFL= 72. Why the sodium flouride? Did I take the right test? Thank for indulging me.
If is the right test can
I get Hypoglycemic with just metformin. My carbs are between 80 and 90 daily and I know I must bring this down. It was lower 2-3 months ago at 60 carbs daily. My feet (my whole vascular system must keep me dilligent).
