Is It Necessary To Stitch Cuts On Scrotum During Vasectomy?

default
Posted on Mon, 31 Aug 2015
Question: When vastecomy is done, the scrotum cuts are not stitched. Does that pose a risk of sperm leakage on your underwear as vas deferens is cut and skin is unstitched. Do you recommend vas deferen to be clamped or cut? Please advise. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
No sutures required, clamping is less traumatic

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.

No-Scalpel vasectomy is a technique used to do the vasectomy through one single puncture. The puncture is made in the scrotum and requires no suturing or stitches. So no suturing cis required.

Clamping is equally but is less traumatic, so preferred.

Yet , again I duly appreciate your query to me, I do hope that have found something useful to help you and I shall be glad to answer any further apprehensions.

Sincerely,
