Question: Hi Doctor,
I am lady (21 Years) Married(4 Months back).
I did not get periods from 70 days.
However i am not even pregnant. My self tested using pregnancy testing Kit (Available at medical shops).
Please let me know the reason behind not getting periods and what are the effects if i did not get periods.

It is common to have deranged periods after marriage because of stress, sleep deprivation, change in eating habits and of course anxiety.
Nothing to worry about and just take tablet norethisterone 5 mg three times a day for three days and on leaving the drug you will get your periods in 3-5 days.
It is a safe drug.
In case you don't get your periods again in next cycle then we will get certain tests done to see the cause behind this erratic period pattern
