Is It Possible To Conceive Naturally After ATT Treatment?
You can conceive naturally after treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have read through your query in detail.
What I understand from your query is that an endometrial biopsy revealed you to having TB. In our country, TB is one of the commonest diseases and all patients need not have cough and weight loss if they are having TB. TB is a condition which can affect any organ from head to toe. In reality, everyone has come in contact with TB bacteria but if the immunity is good then the disease does not happen.
There is a recent research in XXXXXXX on women who were found PCR TB positive and then took treatment for TB. This showed that infertile women without tubal or endometrial damage given early anti-tuberculosis treatment based on a positive endometrial TB-PCR test had an excellent chance of early spontaneous conception.
You may read the article at following link

If you take IVF treatment without taking TB then the disease may spread to other parts of your body and your condition might become serious. IVF will not work in that situation.
If you still have doubts then please consult a TB specialist and then take a second opinion and treatment.
Hope your query is answered.
Please write back if you have any doubts.

Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
You can see that it is mentioned in the article that 92.3 % of patients have normal conception within 6 months of completion of ATT if the tubes and endometrium are not irreversibly involved.
I believe you are in early stage and if you delay further then there will be complications.
The IVF doctor is not concerned about your TB and this is wrong. First you have to treat TB then try to conceive naturally. If that does not happen even after a year after treatment then you can go for IVF.
Hope your query is answered.
Please write back if you have any doubts.
