Is It Possible To Develop An Infection Post Hysterectomy?

Infection may not be the cause
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for posting in health care magic.
It is rare to get infection 6 weeks after surgery.
Apart from pain, you should have fever if there is infection.
Commonest cause for pain abdomen after surgery is adhesions.Bowel might get attached to some suture or vaginal vault and may lead to pain.
Another important condition that has to be excluded is Appendicitis.
Please consult your doctor and get an Ultrasound abdomen and plain X ray abdomen in erect posture.
Before investigations, I prescribe antispasmodic tablet to my patients with similar complaints.
Nothing to worry.
If you come back with investigation reports, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
