Done Vaginal Hysterectomy. Mood Swings After Discharge From Hospital. Cause?
Hi, my name is Lynn and last week I had a vaginal hysterectomy with bilateral aslpingophorectomy, uterosacral ligament vaginal vault suspension, midurethral sling with cystoscopy, anterior and posterior colporhaphy.Please forgive my spelling! I stayed in the hospital for four days, and at the end of which I was unable to have proper bladder function so I went home with the catheter, and a medication called bethanechol to attempt to restore normal bladder function. I am 56 years young and I have not had a period for over three years.
So much for the background. Since I have b een home from the hospital I feel like an emotional wreck, crying over everything and walking around feeling heart broken. What do you think is causing this? I want to feel like myself again.

Many women suffers from mood swing post hysterectomy. I would like to know about your thyroid funtion test. You can start on a Tab Tibofen once a day. This would reduce your post hystrectomy flushes.
