Brief Answer:
Very unlikely, do a pregnancy test for clarifications!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

It would be very unlikely that you become pregnant after tubal ligation. Less than 1/1000 women would ever get pregnant after this procedure. Because your periods have been absent for 2 1/2months with symptoms suggestive of pregnancy, I suggest you do a rapid home pregnancy test for clarifications. My gut feeling is that this would most likely be negative but worth having clear answers.

43 years makes menopause one of the possible reasons why your periods may not be very regular. Before we get there, we need exclude common things first and that is pregnancy. Any pharmacy or drug store has a test kit for home pregnancy.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Please, keep me updated with the results. Thanks!
