Is It Possible To Get Wobbly Legs And Dizziness With Apraxia?
Apraxia is the lack of the ability to carry out purposeful learned movements even though the desire and physical ability to perform the movements is there and the persons understands the request. There are different forms of apraxia.
Ataxia is lack of coordination of muscle movements which can present with numerous different symptoms including instability of gait.
There is one condition in which ataxia is associated apraxia - ataxia with oculomotor apraxia- the person has problems with coordination and apraxia of muscles controlling movements of the eyes.
Other than this apraxia is not usually associated with ataxia.
There are other causes of weakness of the legs and dizziness such as disorders of the inner ear which would affect balance, dehydration, severe infections, anemia/low red cell mass can also cause dizziness.
If possible you may want to consider visiting your doctor for an assessment which should include a ENT examination and a central nervous system examination.
